Thank You...to our Scripture Readers.   If you would like to join our team of readers, please sign the Reader's List for St. Andrew's or Norwood United.  (Norwood duties include offering Words of Welcome and highlighting Announcements as the service begins.)  Readers who would like to schedule their Sunday by email are most welcome to do so... norwestpc@nexicom.net  If you are the Reader for Sunday, the Church Office will send your reading by email ahead of time, or provide a printed copy.  An additional copy of the reading(s) will always be ready on the pulpit for Sunday morning.  Thanks in advance for the variety of voices of different ages and stages!

From Norwood Session: re "Affirming”

As June begins with sunshine, warmth and the fragrance of spring flowers, Pride celebrations begin to take place in communities across the country. We wish the Two Spirit and LGBTQIA+ community a happy Pride month. 

Thank you for your commitment to activism, to carving out space in places where there is reluctance and fear. Activism by people around the world who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer, as well as their straight allies, takes great courage, and while we have come far, there is still far to go. 

This month, celebrate your victories big and small. You have earned each one of them. Allies, it is time tor new yo ur commitment to fighting alongside the 2SLGBTQIA+ community for a future where all can live in freedom and security and enjoy abundant life.

Norwood United "Green Fund"

We have established a ‘Green Fund’ for contributions toward our Solar Panel Project. (Donations will qualify for charitable receipts.)  If you wish to give directly to the capital cost of the project (i.e. your donation will be applied to the contracted cost) please indicate this with your contribution, otherwise, contributions will be applied to interest payments on the Trust Account loan and follow-on environmental church projects.  Contributions may be included in addition to Sunday envelope givings, through PAR, or directly by contacting the Church Office.  Thank you for your generous support!  (The Board of Stewards)​​
